PHILOSOPHY
- Believe in "hands-on" management style when needed.
- Strive to give staff ownership in decision making to help build pride and responsibility in their work.
- Believe in maintaining the golf course firm and fast; the golf ball was intended to bounce and move with the topography of the course.
- Only apply water, pesticides, and fertilizer when needed.
- Golf was meant to be played on firm ground in open areas, not under trees and not on over-watered soft ground conditions.
- Golf courses should be maintained for playability first, aesthetics second.
PUBLICATIONS
- Committed to industry stewardship through volunteering on association boards, completing and compiling surveys, and speaking at association meetings.
- Composed a featured article
in the MetGCSA publication,
Tee to Green.
